Inside the Leh Palace, Leh Ladakh

The Leh Palace at Ladakh was built by King Singe Namgyal in the 17th Century. The Palace had a rich history in the 17th century but was deserted for hundreds of years in the 19th century and after when the royal family shifted to Stok.

The view of the Palace is breathtaking! The architecture is much appreciated as building a 9 storied Palace at that height is no simple task. The majestic palace overlooks the Namgyal hill and is nestled amidst breath taking locales of the Himalayas. If you are in the City of Leh, this is just a walk from the heart of the city and is a must visit place.
