Nothing better than a Candid Shot

If you ask any photographer he / she would agree that a Candid shots come out better than a posed shot! There are different methods of approaching your subject when you want to take a candid shots. For events when the subjects know the fact that you are around clicking snaps,  its easier to click candid shots. On the flip side, when you are out on a photo shoot and you are planning to take candid shots on the street – there is a good chance that the subject (people) realize you are approaching and eventually you loose the candid moment!

For capturing excellent candid moments while on the go, I recommend you to carry Telephoto Zoom lenses with VR or IR (stability control) in your camera kit as it will enable you to click some awesome shots from far without disturbing the subject in action. Below are few telephoto lenses I recommend for Cannon and Nikon Users:

• Cannon Users: Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM
• Nikon Users: Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR Nikkor Zoom Lens
